In the first apartment I moved into, the pervious owner left behind many things of worth. After his wifes death his children moved him to Florida where they lived. My understanding is his children only took what was needed for their father. This tin was one of the things considered unimportant. Inside is a match box colletion this man owned. I liked this idea so much and at the same time, it saddened me that he no longer had something that was nostalgic. Moved by his sensitivity, I desided to continue his collection for him. This is what is inside the tin. Most of these match box's are mine. These are my favorites.

FOR GREG'S EYES ALSO: The start of many doodles to come!

I found these doodles yesterday and I thought 'Why keep them hidden in a place where I most likely won't remember where I put them? Let the world see what I actully do when I am suppose to be working.'

I can't believe I saved all these tiny little pieces of paper with my drawings on it. So glad that I did, because this gives me an idea of how I want my Betty Spaghetti website to look like. I just knew that one day my OCD would come in handy. I'm just kidding I don't have OCD.

You can see my feet in this photo...whoops!

Random Doodles

This was the very first drawing I did for my SVA thesis film. The drawing is the hallway of my old apartment.

Were did I find the time to draw all this stuff?
Even on my List of thing to do, I doodle on.

More Doodles

For some reason I always get inspired when I don't have a drawing pad with me. This napkin provided what a piece of paper couldn't. I have no recollection of the significance of this "room with a view," nor do I know where this building is located. I guess you can say- to capture a moment (that will be soon be forgotten) anything will do.
